Getting Familiar With the 2024 Solterra’s Specs

This year’s Solterra boasts 215 horsepower with 249 lb.-ft. of torque, and the Drive Mode Select program includes ECO and Power modes in addition to Normal. The ECO mode conserves your battery power, while the Power mode increases throttle response for a sportier drive. The Solterra’s smooth handling is unmatched, thanks to its standard Active Cornering Assist program, which focuses braking power on the inside of the front wheel for sharper turns.

With the standard X-MODE program, your Solterra enhances drivetrain performance, boosts the symmetrical all-wheel-drive system, and fine-tunes the vehicle-stability-control program to maximize traction and minimize wheelspin. X-MODE also includes Downhill Assist Control, which helps you maintain speed when traveling downhill. X-MODE’s Grip Control is capable of identifying the terrain and tweaking the Solterra’s mechanics to ensure consistency, no matter the road conditions.

The base model features an eight-inch Subaru Multimedia screen on the center console, while the next two trim options have the 12.3-inch version of the screen as a standard feature. The Solterra’s front seats are designed to protect the occupants and prevent whiplash. The Solterra Connect system is a standard feature on all 2024 models and includes helpful convenience features such as Remote Climate Control and Remote Locking/Unlocking, information features like Vehicle Health Report and Vehicle Charge Status, and important emergency features such as SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and Automatic Collision Notification.

A high-quality Rear-Vision Camera comes standard on all 2024 Solterra trims, with the top two trim options also featuring a Panoramic View Monitor. In addition to the standard four-wheel ABS, each Subaru Solterra is equipped with Brake Assist, which provides supplemental braking power, and a Brake Override System, which prevents unintentional acceleration.

The Parking Support Brake monitors the area behind your Solterra while reversing and alerts you if a potential collision object is detected. The DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System monitors the driver’s head and eye positioning with a high-definition infrared camera to detect signs of fatigue and warn the driver when it’s time to take a break.
