On December 16th, 2024, Subaru Superstore of Surprise opened its heart to the senior community, spreading love and joy during the holiday season. This year, we proudly partnered with Benevilla, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with special needs in our Surprise community. Together, we launched our "Senior Santa" initiative to make the holidays brighter for those who mean so much to us. With the compassion and generosity of our amazing Subaru Superstore of Surprise team, we donated thoughtful gifts, including cozy socks, essential toiletries, soothing body wash, lotion, and delightful holiday treats like Christmas cookies, snacks, and candies. Our goal was simple: to show our seniors they are loved, cherished, and never forgotten. Benevillaās mission to promote inclusion, independence, and well-being resonates deeply with us. Their incredible work brings generations together, building a stronger, more supportive community for all. We are honored to stand beside them in making a difference, one smile at a time!

Presented in recognition of your steadfast dedication and invaluable contributions to Fighter Country! Your partnership has been instrumental in founding and nurturing the ongoing success and mission of Fighter Country Partnership (1993) and Fighter Country Foundation (2006). Your advocacy and unwavering support have paved the way for remarkable achievements in Morale & Well-Being, Culture & Tradition, and Mission Sustainability programs, fostering a cohesive and thriving base community. With heartfelt gratitude, we honor your exceptional service, which has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on Fighter Country and the countless lives of the men, women, and families of Luke Air Force Base. Subaru Superstore of Surprise, along with General Manager Mark Mauer, has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the 309 Fighter Squadron as an Honorary Commander. This dedication has included active participation in Hiring Our Heroes, a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation initiative aimed at connecting veterans, service members, and military spouses with meaningful career opportunities. In recognition of Markās deep engagement with the 309th Fighter Squadron, he was granted the extraordinary honor of experiencing a flight in an F-16, approved by the U.S. Secretary of State in Washington, DC. This incredible opportunity provided Mark with firsthand insight into the rigorous training and commitment required of the men and women who dedicate themselves daily to protecting our nation. On behalf of the Fighter Country Foundation and Luke Air Force Base, we extend our sincerest thanks for your ongoing dedication and support. You are an exceptional beacon of strength, inspiration, and commitment to Fighter Country!

For the fourth consecutive year, Subaru Superstore of Surprise was honored to host the First Sergeants of Luke Air Force Base for their offsite meeting, held in our conference room from August 26-28 with a 7:30 AM start. These esteemed leaders, often referred to as āfirst shirtsā or āshirts,ā serve as front-line ambassadors to unit commanders, ensuring the health, morale, and welfare of all assigned personnel. First sergeants play a critical role in maintaining unit readiness by identifying and addressing issues that could impact Airmen and their mission. This special duty designation, rather than a rank, is assigned to senior enlisted members with the experience, training, and dedication to guide Airmen and their families through challenges, deployments, and transitions to new units. Hosting this offsite meeting provided a productive environment free from typical workplace interruptions, enabling the First Sergeants to focus on their vital mission of supporting their teams. We are proud to support Luke Air Force Base and the incredible leaders who make such a difference in the lives of Airmen and their families.

On August 3rd, I embarked on a 68-mile mountain bike journey from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon, known as the FLG2GC ride. This challenging trek through the tall pines and grasslands of Northern Arizona is more than a personal test of enduranceāit's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. My goal is to raise at least $3,000 for the Marine League Charities (MLC) of Northern Arizona, with a special focus on their flagship program, Toys for Tots. This incredible initiative aims to deliver new toys to less fortunate children at Christmas, providing them with hope and encouragement to grow into responsible and patriotic citizens. Thanks to the generosity of donors and a $1,500 matching contribution from Subaru Superstore of Surprise, Iāve already surpassed my goal, raising $3,085. But the mission doesn't stop there. The Marine League Charities, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports various causes, including the Flagstaff Community Toys for Tots, Flagstaff Youth Program, Wounded Marine Program, Marine Relief, and the Coconino Community College Scholarship Fund. Their work makes a profound difference for children in Northern Arizona and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The FLG2GC ride has supported Toys for Tots for over a decade, becoming a key fundraising event for the Marine League Charities. This partnership ensures a brighter future for countless children while empowering the Marines who make this mission possible. Together, we can continue to bring joy and hope to families in need. Your support means the world, and every dollar donated contributes to making this mission a success. Thank you for being part of my journey with members from Luke Air Force Base and the 309th Fighter Squadron Commander and others.

A great thank you to Subaru Superstore of Surprise for supporting El Mirage Elementary this year in multiple ways and building up our Tiger Pride! Six of our teachers were surprised with $500 grants for their classrooms. They used these grants to purchase education resources to support student learning. Mark Mauer and his team attended the grant surprise visits to classrooms. Our teachers and students were so excited to be recognized for their hard work and learning. El Mirage Elementary is a K-4 Title One school, 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch and rely on our school as a safe place before, during, and after school for learning. We created a vision for our school to empower our students, staff, and community to build strong, healthy minds and bodies. Reaching this vision includes providing additional opportunities to be physically active, keep a growth mindset, and focus on college and career readiness. Through this vision, we were able to decrease our behavior referrals, increase parent engagement, and increase academic proficiency. Our teachers are committed to student growth and provide each one exactly what they need to succeed. In the 2022-2023 school year, we were extremely proud to announce that El Mirage Elementary was named an A+ School of Excellence, and a Model School. EMES couldnāt have achieved these prestigious honors without the support of our community partnership with Subaru Superstore of Surprise spearheaded by Mr. Mauer. The grants from Subaru Superstore of Surprise benefited our students and teachers by providing them with needed materials to help further this growth. We are so grateful for both the grants and the partnership. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow in our partnership to benefit our students today and in the future.

The Dysart Education Foundation (DEF) were honored once again to be the recipient of funds from the 2023 Share the Love Event. Mark Mauer and his wife attended the event on April 30, 2024 . This is our annual event where we get together and recognize and reward our hard working seniors who earned a DEF/Share the Love scholarship to continue their education. At the dinner, Mark helped DEF President Kristi Richards present the DEF/Share the Love Scholarships to several very deserving Dysart District High School Seniors. As a non-profit that operates solely on community donations and fundraising, this donation also allows DEF to fund our Laird Mini Grant Program. These grants provide teachers in the district the ability to purchase items that go directly back into their classroom. The generosity that comes from the Share the Love program allows DEF to put more money into our District classrooms and also allows us to extend some much needed scholarship money to some very deserving students. We want to extend a big THANK YOU to Mark Mauer and Subaru Super Store of Surprise for their incredibly generous donation. We are honored to have partnered with you for the last 4 years and we look forward to doing it for many years to come.

On October 28, 2023, we hosted a pet adoption day at Subaru Superstore of Surprise with Anthem Pets which is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue based in North Phoenix. We cannot thank GM Mark Mauer and his entire team for their generosity and support over the years. They have collected much-needed donations for us and with adoption events, we have adopted over 65 amazing animals. Since its founding, Anthem Pets has grown into a 501 (c)(3) non-profit with dedicated volunteers and fosters working 365 days a year. Through their efforts, abused and abandoned animals get a second chance and many lost pets are reunited with their owners through the use of a Pet Hotline and a very active Facebook page. We rescue about 1,000 cats and dogs every year. When a pet becomes our responsibility, it receives a wellness check-up, is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. It then stays with a foster until it is adopted. Some found pets are sick or injured and we work with our veterinary partner, Daisy Mountain Vet Hospital, to determine the best course of treatment for these animals. Because we do not have a shelter, fosters are an essential component of the rescue. While we have some dedicated fosters, we always need more. Many of these families become what we lovingly call āFoster Failures,ā which means theyāve adopted the pet they were fostering. We look forward to the continued partnership with Subaru Superstore of Surprise. Thank you, Anthem Pets.

Itās filled by a senior enlisted member who has the experience, training, and attitude to help commanders and supervisors provide guidance to Airmen, prepare members and families for deployments, help them through hardships, adapt to military environments, and adjust to a new unit. Being offsite allows for less interruptions and creates a higher productivity level

On June 21st, in Phoenix, Arizona, Subaru Superstore of Surprise, in partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma SocietyĀ® Desert Region Chapter, had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets and Care Packages to Phoenix Childrenās Hospital (PCH) as part of the Subaru Loves to CareĀ® initiative. They also provided flyers showing patients and their families how to apply for financial assistance during treatment visits that can be applied to lodging or food. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff and the customers of Subaru Superstore of Surprise. Mark Mauer and his staff from Subaru were thrilled to deliver these gifts, which was warmly received by Veronica Taylor, the Support Services Coordinator for PCH. Being able to deliver a small gesture of comfort to patients that day perfectly captured why the program exists. Many thanks to everyone at Subaru Superstore of Surprise and Phoenix Childrenās Hospital, not only for a memorable day, but for supporting the LLSs mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Dysart Education Foundation (DEF) was honored by the Subaru Superstore of Surprise to be the recipient of funds from the 2022 Share the LoveĀ® Event! General Manager Mark Mauer attended DEFās Annual Scholarship Dinner on April 19th, 2023. This is our annual event where we get together and recognize and reward our hard working seniors who earned a DEF scholarship to continue their education. Mark and the Subaru store have been such great supporters of the Dysart District and DEF over the past 3 years. We are honored to have them partner directly with DEF to award our Dysart Students Scholarships. Mark presented our foundation this year with a check for $50,000 during the awards dinner! We were humbled and continue to be honored and grateful for this extremely generous donation. As a non-profit that operates solely on community donations and fundraising, this donation allows DEF to fund additional scholarships for high school seniors who are in need of scholarship assistance to further their education. DEF also provides mini grants to teachers in the district. These grant funds go directly into classrooms across the Dysart Unified School District to assist teachers with innovative projects within their classrooms. The generosity of Subaru Superstore of Surprise allows us to expand this opportunity so that we can reach more teachers and subsequently make a difference for more children. Thank you Mark Mauer and Subaru Superstore of Surprise for this incredibly generous donation! We are truly humbled and honored to extend our 3 year partnership and look forward to many more years to come.

On March 18th, 2023, we hosted a pet adoption day at Subaru Superstore of Surprise with Anthem Pets which is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue based in North Phoenix.

A grrreeeat thank you to Subaru Superstore of Surprise for supporting El Mirage Elementary this year in multiple ways and building up our Tiger Pride! Six of our teachers were surprised with $500 grants for their classrooms. They used these grants to purchase education games, books, and resources to support student learning. Mark Mauer and his team attended the grant surprise visits to classrooms. Our teachers were so excited to be recognized for their hard work. Our school letter grade increased to an A this year, and we are proud to be in the final rounds to be selected as an A+ School of Excellence. Mr. Mauer understands the positive impact this recognition would have for our school. Mr. Mauer attended our A+ community partners meeting to talk about our current partnership, as well as the vision for future collaboration. Stakeholder partnerships as this benefit not only the school, but the community as a whole. Mr. Mauer met with the committee, who provided positive feedback about our partnership. El Mirage Elementary is a K-4 Title One school. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch and rely on our school as a safe place before and afterschool. We created a vision for our school to empower our students, staff, and community to build strong, healthy minds and bodies. Reaching this vision includes providing additional opportunities to be physically active, keep a growth mindset, and focus on college and career readiness. Through this vision we were able to decrease our behavior referrals, increase parent engagement, and increase academic proficiency. Our teachers are committed to student growth and give each one exactly what they need to succeed. Our third grade math state testing proficiency grew by 21.41% and ELA grew by 35.68%. Our fourth grade math state testing proficiency grew by 21.73% and ELA grew by 7.26% . The grants from Subaru Superstore of Surprise benefited our students and teachers by providing them with needed materials to help further this growth. We are so grateful for both the grants. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow our partnership to benefit our students today and in the future.

The Dysart Education Foundation (DEF) was honored by the Subaru Superstore of Surprise to be the recipient of funds from the 2021 Share the Love Event! General Manager Mark Mauer attended DEFās Annual Scholarship Dinner on April 21, 2022. This was our in-person event after a 2-year hiatus as a result of restrictions enforced by the COVID-19 outbreak. Imagine our surprise and delight when Mark presented our foundation with a check for $75,000 during the awards dinner! We were and continue to be overwhelmed and eternally grateful for this extremely generous donation. As a non-profit that operates solely on community donations and fundraising, this donation allows DEF to fund additional scholarships for high school seniors who are in need scholarship assistance to further their education. The Phoenix Subaru Retailers (in conjunction with KTAR) held a book drive in March 2022. The Raise A+ Reader campaign kicked off on National Read Across America Day, March 2, to encourage the community to prioritize literacy. The campaign even inspired one Valley man, Mike Austin, to learn to read at age 55, The Phoenix Subaru retailers collected new and gently-used childrenās books. More than 1,000 books were collected and donated to Southwest Human Development. The books will be placed in Little Free Libraries throughout the community in order to help get books into the hands of kids who need them the most.

Once again, here is another example as to why a partnership is ALWAYS better than being a supporter. Fighter Country Foundation (FCF) always appreciates their supporters and we always seek them. The mission to support the Men, Women, Families and Mission of Luke Air Force requires a large network of supports for us to be successful in executing our mission. What FCF truly appreciates is when our supporters become actual partners in our mission. We have always said "talking about the success of our mission" is nothing compared to "being a part of our mission" and the Subaru Superstore of Surprise is the perfect example of that model!!! Once again, the Subaru Superstore of Surprise raised $25,000 for FCF through the Subaru "Share the Love" campaign, and FCF will use those funds to provide programs and services to support the military members and their families at Luke AFB. One of our favorite of those programs is our FCF BlazerBox Care Package Program. Multiple times a year (outside of pandemic years) FCF brings their supporters to our friends at the Subaru Superstore of Surprise and absolutely rock the BlazerBox Program and I can't express how rewarding it is. This year we had Subaru of America volunteers, Luke AFB Leadership, Luke Honorary Commander Alumni (Blue Blazer Squadron), FCF Staff & Board Members and Team Members from the Subaru Superstore of Surprise pack 408 care packages that we sent downrange to military members from Luke AFB who are deployed. It was very rewarding to hear from Luke Leadership who candidly shared what the impact of these care packages truly means. As much as the food & Hygiene products are appreciated, it is more about the Deployed Military Members simply knows that we are thinking about them and you can't put a "supporter price" on that feeling. What we love at FCF is that we accomplish this mission with everyone. Each person involved get to be a part of the rewarding feeling of supporting our troops, especially our deployed troops. We have found that those who are physically a part of our mission become Partners vs simply supporters. THANK YOU to the family team at the Subaru Superstore of Surpirse for being a Model Partner of Fighter Country Foundation as together, we support the Men, Women, Families and Mission of Luke AFB!!!

Anthem Pets is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescued based in North Phoenix. We rescue about 1,000 cats and dogs every year. They have collected much needed donations for us and with adoption events, we have adopted over 50 animals. We look forward to the continue partnership with Subaru of Surprise. Thank you Adam Raley Anthem Pets, President

The Subaru Superstore of Surprise has done it once again and we can't tell you how great it felt to support our Military Members from Luke AFB together...once again. Due to the Pandemic it has been over 15 months since we have been able to get the partnership back together to deliver some awesomeness to our Airmen. We finally did it!!! Subaru staff team members, FCF Blue Blazer Squadron Members and other local partners joined together to put together over 400 Food & Hygiene Boxes and ship them down range to our warriors. It is through the success of the Share the Love Campaign that generates the resources which provides us the ability to execute on our mission to include the BlazerBox Care Package Program. Rudy's Country Store & BBQ came out and fed the Subaru Team, FCF Team and Blue Blazers and then we rolled up our sleeves and got to WORK!!! Mark & his Subaru Team opened up their beautiful facility and provided the perfect venue and set-up so we could rock out those 400 packages and it was fantastic. We have worked with the Subaru Superstore of Surprise for over 3 years on these programs so we truly missed the ability to engage in person and accomplished some great outcomes the enhance the quality of life for our Families at Luke AFB!!! As always...THANKS Subaru Superstore of Surprise for the inclusion and support through the Share The Love Campaign and we look forward to together continue to support the Men, Women, Famlies, and Mission of Luke AFB!!!

My husband (retired) and I are first responders. We have spent a combined 36 years responding to serious criminal investigations, most disturbing, children/families in vehicular collisions. We have never owned a Subaru (until now) and had many choices. We expect this 2021 Crosstrek Sport, to be our sonās 1st car, he is 7. Research and real-life testimonials have helped us decide about our future vehicle! Pleasantly surprised with the pep, Mpg and overall customer service! We are happy #1 Subaru owners!

Dysart Education Foundation (DEF) was selected by Subaru Superstore of Surprise to receive funds from their 2020 Share the Love Event. The $25,000 check, presented to us by Mr. Mark Mauer and other Subaru officials, couldnāt have come at a better time, given that many of DEFās fundraising plans had to be put on hold due to the pandemic! The funds generated during the Share the Love Event will allow DEF to fund additional scholarships for high school graduates who need scholarship assistance in order to attend college. It will also mean more teachers can receive grants to pay for innovative projects in their classrooms. Thanks so much to Subaru Superstore of Surprise for this generous donation!

The partnership the Subaru Superstore of Surprise has created with Fighter Country Foundation (FCF) is truly a Win - Win - Win story through the Share the Love Campaign. The funds generated through the Share the Love campaign go to support the Men, Women, Families and Mission of Luke AFB through programs and services that are geared towards Morale & Well-Being, Culture & Tradition and Mission Sustainability. There are dozens of programs that are provided within this platform, programs for Deployed Families, Deployed Airmen-Sailors-Marines, Single Parents, Luke Airman Dorm Residents, Financial Literacy, Health & Wellness and so many more. The program I always prefer to highlight is the FCF BlazerBox Care Package Program because of how it brings EVERYONE together to support our Military Members who are deployed downrange and away from their family and friends. For them to receive a little bit of love and thoughtfulness during their time away brings their Morale up in very significant ways. We know this because of the responses we get from our military members upon their return. What makes this program so unique, is who and how it gets supported. FCF hosts the BlazerBox Care Packing Party at our Subaru Superstore of Surprise location and the Food Packages and Hygiene Packages get packaged by all parties. The Subaru patrons who purchased a care and supported the Share the Love Campaign are invited, The Airmen and Families from Luke are invited and the Members and Partners from FCF are invited. "TOGETHER" we will package on average 375 boxes to get sent all over the world reminding our Airmen, Sailors & Marines deployed from Luke how much we care about them. This program is a perfect example of how to collaborate and get all parties involved to provide support for our military. COVID made it tough last year, but that hasn't deterred us, and we already have another packing party on the books at the Subaru Superstore of Surprise. If you want to be a part, you should reach out to the amazing team at Subaru Superstore of Surprise and ask how to get involved. And from FCF...Thank You so much for the continued support through the Share The Love Campaign which has raised over $93,000 for FCF through the years!!!

We lost our daughter in October and we had a very large wheelchair accessible van to help accommodate her needs. I posted on our local Facebook page that somebody had egged the van and how upsetting it was to me because it was my daughterās van. Mark, the general manager of the Subaru Superstore in Surprise saw my post and offered to detail our van for us. I was shocked and so grateful. I asked him do you realize how big this van is and itās black? He said they would be happy to do it and they made it shine again. I we were able to sell the van to another family that could use it for their child. So this family got it nice and shiny clean because they were so kind to us at the Subaru Superstore in Surprise. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Friday morning GM Mark Mauer and two salesman came down to hand out blankets to our homies, which are now their homies! We call them homies because they are homeless but they are also our friends! As it gets colder these blankets will surely help keep them warm at night. We are so honored to be the organization that Subaru Superstore of Surprise chose to help this season. We look forward to working with them again. We are a small 501c3 working to improve the lives of the homeless people in the valley. We serve them consistently every Thursday with a meal, every Friday by doing a laundry for them, and occasionally when allowed we bring the shower trailer out for them to shower in. Itās an honor getting to work with Subaru in this capacity
St Mary's F.
The Phoenix Metro Subaru Retailers and Subaru of America employees all volunteered at the St. Mary's Food bank to pack Emergency Food Boxes. It was a fun and hard-working session where we all packed over 31 pallets worth of food for those in need. Mark and Kyler worked hard putting canned foods and other snacks into the emergency boxes. Thank you, Mark and Kyler, for volunteering your time and hard work to help the people of Phoenix! This is what Makes Subaru Superstore of Surprise more than just a car retailer!

The Subaru dealership located within the City of Surprise has become a model of support for Fighter Country Foundation and Luke Air Force Base. Luke Air Force Base is located within 5 miles of the Surprise Subaru Dealership. Over the past years, the Surprise Subaru Dealership has established a relationship with Fighter Country Foundation which supports the Men, Women, Families and Mission of Luke Air Force Base. Fighter Country Foundation (FCF) works very hard to establish "Partners", not just donors in the mission which provides programs and services geared towards Morale & Well-Being, Culture & Tradition and Mission Sustainability. FCF's programs and services range from Deployed Family Events, Financial Literacy, Health & Wellness with the purpose of enhancing the quality of life at the installation while providing the mission of training the World's Greatest Fighter Pilot while Deploying Mission Ready War-Fighters. What FCF appreciates the most about the partnership we have with Surprise Subaru is that their support towards the Airmen and their families isn't simply "a check" and "Pom Poms" of support for Luke. They get their Staff Team, Senior Leadership Team, and most importantly, their Customers involved in the action. Multiple times over the past couple years Surprise Subaru has physically hosted a Packing Party event at their dealership where the Staff Team, Senior Leadership Team, and most importantly, their Customers become a part of supporting the Deployed Airmen from Luke Air Force Base. This is the model of support FCF strives to cultivate with its partners, and Surprise Subaru has done and exceeded those expectations. Most recently there was a packing party at Surprise Subaru where over 180 care packages were packed and sent off to the Airmen from Luke who are deployed and away from home during the holidays. This wasn't the first time they have done this. Over the past two years, FCF has worked with Surprise Subaru to coordinate 3 packing party events culminating in over 750 care packages with Food and Hygiene projects for the Deployed Warriors from Luke Air Force Base. The support and engagement that Surprise Subaru brings to their Staff and Customers is that "Model of Support" that FCF will share with all about how to support an active duty military installation!!! Thank You very much to Surprise Subaru for leading by example in supporting the Men, Women, Families and Mission of Luke Air Force Base with the partnership you have established with Fighter Country Foundation!!!

We are so grateful for the support from Mark Mauer and the entire team at the Surprise Subaru Superstore. Anthem Pets Animal Rescue held an event at the store and it was fantastic. The whole team was supportive of the animals, helped us collect food and toy donations and most importantly we found homes for many of the dogs and cats we brought to the event. It was such an incredible success that we are going back again in January. Mark has gone out of his way to support our rescue because he knows our mission to be a voice for the voiceless. We take all animals and find them homes no matter how long it takes. Our older, harder to adopt pets get great exposure at Subaru and we could not have asked for a better event. I have attached a video taken at the event and featured on our YouTube Channel. Thank you to Mark and then entire AWESOME team at Subaru in Surprise. You saved lives and we can't wait to work with you again. Sincerely, Lori Moriarty, Presedent Anthem Pets Animal Rescue

Hi, My name is Penelope Thompson and I'm a special education resource teacher at John R Davis ES in the Roosevelt School District. I teach at a Title I school and I absolutely love my job! Well, this is my "Bean Bag" story. I finally was able to buy the car of my dreams...a 2019 Subaru Ascent! Since I'm a teacher I knew I couldn't afford a high monthly payment. The dealer David Castillo was doing all he could to make it happen. Also, although I wasn't aware the general manager Mark Mauer was behind the scene also trying to make it happen. He found out I was a teacher and he knew how badly I wanted this vehicle so they both made it happen! My dream car that I could afford on a teachers income (yay)!! Well that's the beginning of the story. What happened next is the best part. Mark later came up to me and congratulated me on my purchase. He also asked if there was anything that he could do personally to help me with my class. Well, I was so surprised by this request. I never would have thought that buying a car would also give me the opportunity to receive something for my special education students. It only took about one minute and I said "Bean Bags!" You see my students also have emotional needs. I help them with processing high level emotional outbursts. I have created in my classroom a calm and reflective classroom so that my students have a safe place were they can address their emotions. Having bean bags added into this special area would give the students a comfortable place to sit and process their feelings. Mark took on my request immediately and within a couple of days I had "4" Big Joe bean bags. Oh you should have seen my students faces when they came to school the next day! They absolutely loved them! This was last school year and now this school year those bean bags are still doing what I was hoping they would. Giving my students a place to sit, feel safe, contemplate their feelings and most importantly know that they are loved! Thank you Mark, David, and Subaru's Love Promise, for caring about my community and especially my students! Sincerely, Penelope Thompson
